Thank You for Showing an Interest in Supporting the Toys for Tots Campaign!
So... What can you do to help?
There are many options in which you can support the New Orleans Toys for Tots Campaign. The ones listed below are some of the recurring opportunities that companies and organizations have made use of.
1) Become a Toy Drop-Site
When you register as a toy drop-site, our Marines will deliver Toys for Tots boxes to your business where you can begin collecting toys on our behalf. We'll post your business information on our drop-site page so that the local community in New Orleans and the Greater New Orleans area we'll know they can visit your business to drop off toys. In Mid-December, the Marines will schedule a pick-up of the box and bring them back to our warehouse for processing and distribution. If you're interested in signing up, just click "
Become a Toy Drop-Site"
2) Host an Event and Invite Toys for Tots
If you're hosting a holiday party for your business, organization, or network... Why not invite some U.S. Marines in their Dress Blues? We attend many holiday parties where attendees are requested to bring a toy and the Marines will be there to collect them. We'd love to be part of your event! Want to do something even bigger? Feel free to reach out and discuss your ideas with us. Click "
Host a Toys for Tots Event" to find out more.
3) Volunteer
The Marine Corps is big on camaraderie and building esprit de corps. Why not take part in it and join us? In our warehouse where we sort thousands of toys to prepare for distribution to less fortunate children in our area. We generally have a small team of Marines and civilians that run the entire campaign and are always in need of assistance when it comes to sorting all toys that come in. We can schedule group volunteer shifts where you and the rest of your party can come in and work together to prepare to the toys. It's a great opportunity to do something together with your employees, peers, students, team, etc... that benefits the children of New Orleans and the greater area. Click "

4) Logistical Support
We strive to ensure that 97% of monetary donations go to the purchase of toys and only spend 3% on overhead costs to run the campaign. We are always in need of special donations to aid our campaign operations. If you're able to provide any of the below donations, please reach out to us! The items listed below allow us to support a greater number of less fortunate children. For this, we'll ensure special recognition is made. If you're able to support with any of these items, please reach out to our campaign coordinator at new.orleans.la@toysfortots.org
- Donated Vehicles - Box Trucks, vans, or any other vehicle suitable for picking up large donations. Vehicles are insured by Toys for Tots Foundation and returned at the end of December.
- Gas Cards - To fuel the donated vehicles that are collecting toys
- Forklift - We have tons of toys to sort through and pallets to move. A donation of a forklift we'll greatly increase our ability to process toys, freeing up our Marines to go out into the community to collect more toys.
- General Contractor/Wood/Labor - To aid in building our toy sorting system!
- Contractor Trash Bags - To bag the thousands of toys that we distribute to organizations.
